The Working Group International Desks is responsible for developing and implementing cooperation between CIBP members in the field of cross-border activities, mainly for SMEs. It is in fact impossible to adequately support the SMEs only by taking into account the regional and national level, without considering the international level.

The members of the Working Group have created this project on the base of the customers’ growing desire to undertake international business. As many banks find it difficult to use the existing international network, the Working Group International Desks was created in order to fine-tune useful tools to facilitate full cooperation among its members. These tools will allow banks to improve their relationship with their customers and customers to overcome their fears related to international activities.

Aiming to support their customers, the members of the International Desks Working Group are working on a new business model and simultaneously strengthening the existing European and international network.
