With the theme of “Cooperative Enterprises Build a Better World”, the Year seeks to encourage the growth and establishment of cooperatives all over the world. The CIBP General Secretary also participated to the closing ceremony of the 2012IYC in New York were he presented the main outcomes of this Congress The United Nations agenda represents an important opportunity for the CIBP Congress 2012 to officially celebrate cooperative models and raise awareness on the importance of their impact on the real economy.
