The International Confederation of Popular Banks (CIBP) has for mission to provide cooperative banks with an international learning forum and a business network to serve as a basis for the enhancement of their cooperative and business development.

It also intends to contribute ever more to the economic and social well-being of its members and communities and, in particular, to that of entrepreneurs and the self-employed.

CIBP is seen as playing a strategic role in strengthening the cooperative practices and distinctive advantages of its member banks and in contributing to enhance the public recognition of the cooperative banks' mission as well as their ability to engage in sustainable development.

Point3 To enhance business development and relations amongst member banks
Point4 To implement a communication campaign to promote the merits of co-operative banks at a global level
