"SMEs and co-operative banks: Challenges and opportunity for the development of the European economy" on 6 October 2011,
Background and objectives The 4th edition of the European „Cooperative Banks and SMEs" co-organised by EACB, CIBP and UEAPME will be hosted by KZBS on 6th October 2011 in Warsaw under the patroning of the Polish Presidency of the EU. The current regulatory framework and the CRD IV will affect cooperatives banks and their capacity to finance SMEs. What are the challenges ahead? What are the cooperative banks and SMEs views? Moreover the current discussion of the programming period 2013, the question of the enhancement of EU instruments for SMEs and the role of SMEs and cooperative banks to develop the EU economy will be addressed.
