CIBP accepts members from all countries. The requirements to be met depend on the membership category desired. For further information about how to become a member of CIBP, please read our statute.
Types of membership
1) National institutions devoted to the promotion of cooperative credit;
2) Institutions and national or central organisations primarily devoted to the distribution of credit and the provision of financial services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), crafts, liberal professionals and similar activities; or
3) National federations of institutions or organisations classified under 1) or 2).

2) National organisations primarily devoted to the distribution of credit and the provision of financial services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), crafts, liberal professionals and similar activities; which can or wish to participate only in some of the tasks performed by CIBP, even though they could qualify as active members. National, regional or local institutions or organisations affiliated to an active member, at the proposal of an active member belonging to the same country.
Relevant personalities, at the proposal of the Executive Committee.
