Bernad Huberdeau is CIBP's Secretary General. He is the head of CIBP's General Secretariat office, which is based in Brussels and responsible for the efficient running of CIBP’s activities.

He represents the members' interests to the European institutions and other international organizations. He is also in charge for the promotion, preparation and organization of the work of the CIBP General Secretariat.

Mr Huberdeau promotes and develops the different initiatives to ensure the smooth circulation among members of reports, good practices, and topics of general interest in order to facilitate their implementation within members’ organizations.

He is in charge of the organization and follow-up of the different Working Groups of experts which study topics of common interest for members.

Mr Huberdeau spent more than 35 years in different positions in the Banque Populaire Group, mainly in Corporate Finance and International Activities at Natixis and, more recently, at Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires.
