The 27^th CIBP Congress will take place in Québec City, Canada, between 7 and 10 July 2010.

It will be an occasion for our members to come together and to engage at the international level not only their central organisations, but also their regional and local banks. It is for this reason that CIBP congresses have become the showcase for CIBP members to reinforce their common values.

This year, the topic chosen as central theme is “How to Better Harmonize Financial Performance and Cooperative Performance?” This topic will unfold in three subthemes, each one corresponding to one half-day of discussions:

• Thursday 8 July, in the morning -  "Specificity of Cooperative Banks in the Relationship with their Members and Customers"
• Thursday 8 July, in the afternoon - "The Definition of Financial Performance for Cooperative Banks or 'Patient Banking'"
• Friday 9 July, in the morning - "Good Governance and Sound Growth Strategies"

On 9 July, immediately after the official closing of the Congress, CIBP will hold its General Assembly and Executive Committee meetings.
